Mature humour for those over 18 is the theory, but then who knows what 14 year olds will sneak into - still there's little here they won't learn at school from their friends!

Teacher's Pet

A boring voice in a smoke filled room,
Wade through the lecture and the facts,
Don't be disturbed by the noisy gloom
Just keep on pretending to act.
Final hours on this tortuous day
But there is work to finish tonight
Stop in the pub, tempted to stay
But you must have everything right
Exams approaching, the future you're told
As if you care at your age.
There's lots of life left, it's time to be bold
Not to worry on earning some wage.
But you've failed, then you're finished,
The system won't have you again,
Those hopes of your life all diminished
A story you followed in vain.
Well not to worry about that now,
We've experienced more than "conform"
Follow our lives and accept then allow
That there are more than the accredited norms.
