Passion
Poem
As
dawn approached the angels fled,
Winging
their way with lonely dread
Across
the darkened sky yet bright
With
their celestial, haunting light.
Across
dark caverns, haunted and deep,
Around
deep gulfs and without sleep,
Those
dream like clouds of bounteous light
Sought
peace and life to end their flight.
At
last they found their errands
end,
The
final answer and the one to
send
To
free all souls from their
awful plight,
To
put at once all wrongs to
right.
