Life-Love
The
city rumbles, the lion roars,
The
sea washes cold green shores.
A
lonely eagle, up in the sky,
Watches
the stars of night go by.
The
peasant rocks her child
asleep,
A
river drowns in the
deadly deep,
A
gannet flies to eternal
sleep,
A
swordfish falls
with the neap.
An
Arab is born,
the goatherd sings.
They've
built a plane--golden
wings.
An
atom bomb
fell onto
the land.
The
sun went
out. Ice
is canned.
